MERRIMENT PREMIERES BEHIND-THE-SCENESVIDEO OF ‘SWAY’ RECORDING PROCESS ANNOUNCES ‘ SWAY’ VINYL RELEASE ON TOUR NOW WITH SUCRÉ

TX-based indie-pop outfit Merriment is premiering a new video featuring never-before-seen footage of the band recording their recently released debut album, Sway.

The video features the song “Now I’m Silver” and can be seen at Merriment.merchnow.com, where the band’s new vinyl for Sway is also now available. This is the first pressing of Sway and is limited to 500 on black vinyl.

The band is currently on tour with Sucré (featuring Stacy King of Eisley) and The Honey Trees. All upcoming tour dates can be found below.

Merriment is comprised of Christie and Collin DuPree, the younger siblings of Eisley, and is signed to Rory Records – an Equal Vision Records’ imprint label created by Say Anything’s Max Bemis.

The stunning album features twelve tracks filled with lush harmonies, all serenely delivered through the sweet, angelic vocals of Christie DuPree. Merriment flawlessly pairs hypnotic indie pop melodies with the warmth of folk-tinged Americana elements to create a bright yet delicate and graceful blend that is all their own.

Sway was recorded in the band’s hometown of Tyler, TX, with Charlie Brand of Miniature Tigers serving as producer.

MATT PRYOR ANNOUNCES SPRING TOUR PRESENTED BY DOWNWRITE 
FT. BLUE OF COLORS, BOB NANNA, MARK ROSE AND JOSH BERWANGER



Rory Records / Equal Vision Records’ solo artist Matt Pryor (of The Get Up Kids/New Amsterdams) will hit the road this Spring with Blue of Colors, Bob Nanna (May 11-17 only), Mark Rose and Josh Berwanger (May 2-10 only).
The US tour will be presented by Downwrite, a platform created by Nanna and Rose that allows fans to connect with their favorite songwriters on a personal and creative level, by having custom songs written specifically for them.
The upcoming tour features a full lineup of Downwrite artists and will serve as an intimate introduction to the unique service.
"It’s a showcase for songwriters and a way for people to get to know what Downwrite is all about,” shares Pryor. “Plus, I’m excited to be touring with some old friends again.”
Pryor recently unveiled a music video for “Kinda Go To Pieces”, featuring a guest appearance from 2013 Air Guitar World Champion Eric “Mean Melin” Melin. The song comes from his latest solo album Wrist Slitter – out now via Rory Records/Equal Vision Records. Watch “Kinda Go To Pieces” on YouTube HERE.

ANNOUNCES ‘TWO OF A CRIME’ DIGITAL DELUXE EDITION TO BE RELEASED APRIL 15

Perma, featuring Say Anything’s Max Bemis and Eisley’s Sherri DuPree-Bemis, is premiering a new music video for “Little Light”, today on AltPress.com. The video was directed by Max Moore and filmed in Tyler, TX.

"I’m really proud to have made a music video that is both uplifting and also a bit silly," shares Bemis. "We had a great time filming it with Max Moore and are so excited to share "Little Light" with everyone!"

Today, the duo is also announcing that they will release a digital deluxe edition of their debut album, Two of a Crime, on April 15 through Rory Records - Bemis’ imprint label within Equal Vision Records.

The digital deluxe album will feature four new tracks, including one brand new song called “Deluxe” and three songs from an exclusive live performance at Pandora’s headquarters in Oakland, CA.

Perma just wrapped up a two-part US tour that spanned from coast to coast, and will now take a short break from touring as Eisley is set to head out on the road for a Spring Tour with Merriment, another Rory Records’ band.
