FOR UPCOMING AUSTRALIAN TOUR

Image description

Say Anything has partnered with SPIN for the premiere of the band’s new music video for “Six Six Six”. The video can be seen now on SPIN.com and via Youtube.com/equalvision.

“Six Six Six” comes from HebrewsSay Anything’s fifth studio album, which was released on June 10 through Equal Vision Records.

The band has also just announced that Chris Conley, of Saves The Day, will join the band on their upcoming Australian headline tour as a special guest guitarist for Say Anything. The tour will kick off on October 15 in Perth.

Say Anything recently wrapped up a massively successful US headline tour as well, with 15+ SOLD OUT shows, including New York City, Dallas, Pomona, Seattle, Chicago, Baltimore and many more. Support bands on the tour included The Front Bottoms, The So So Glos and You Blew It! The tour also featured a very special live line-up with Fred Mascherino from The Color Fred, Taking Back Sunday, Breaking Pangea and Terrible Things, Greg Dunn from Moving Mountains, Kenny Bridges from Moneen, Reed Murray from Tallhart and Garron DuPree of Eisley.

The Los Angeles date of the tour was also filmed and will air on NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly this September.

This same member lineup (Bemis, Mascherino, Dunn, Bridges, Murray and DuPree) will next perform at Riot Fest 2014 in Chicago, IL on September 13. All upcoming tour dates can be found below.

Hebrews features 16 special guest vocalists which include Chris Conley (Saves The Day), Matt Pryor (The Get Up Kids), Chauntelle DuPree-D’Agostino (Eisley), Keith Buckley (Every Time I Die), Brian Sella (The Front Bottoms), Aaron Weiss (mewithoutYou), Stacy King (Eisley), Bob Nanna (Braid), Gareth and Kim Campesinos (Los Campesinos), Christie DuPree (Merriment), Jeremy Bolm (Touché Amoré), Tom DeLonge (blink-182), Andy Hull (Manchester Orchestra), Jon Simmons (Balance & Composure) and Sherri DuPree-Bemis (Eisley). The collection of 12 songs trade traditional rock-band instrumentation for more refined string arrangements.

Say Anything has released the first single from the highly anticipated upcoming album, “Hebrews” to be released on June 10th via Equal Vision Records. Fans can stream “Six Six Six” and read an in-depth interview regarding the album with front-man Max Bemis exclusively with Billboard now: http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/6069749/say-anything-six-six-six-song-premiere-max-bemis-talks-ambitious-new-hebrews

“Six Six Six,” features additional vocals from Eisley’s Sherri Dupree-Bemis, Balance & Composure singer Jon Simmons and Andy Hull of Manchester Orchestra. Backed by a beautiful string section, the song’s lyrics discuss the devil existing in everyone. Religious identity is a theme that blankets the entire album. “A big part of the journey was also understanding my lineage and my culture,” Max explains. “That’s why the record’s called Hebrews. Whether you’re Jewish, Catholic or whatever, you come from a [larger] culture. It’s not a record about being Jewish; it’s about understanding where my neuroses come from. Is it from society, my parents or from the dawn of man?”

“Hebrews” also features 16 guest vocalists, which include Chris Conley (Saves The Day), Matt Pryor (The Get Up Kids), Chauntelle DuPree-D’Agostino (Eisley), Keith Buckley (Every Time I Die), Brian Sella (The Front Bottoms), Aaron Weiss (mewithoutYou), Stacy King (Eisley), Bob Nanna (Braid), Gareth and Kim Campesinos (Los Campesinos), Christie DuPree (Merriment), Jeremy Bolm (Touché Amoré), Tom DeLonge (blink-182) and the aforementioned Andy Hull,  Jon Simmons and Sherri DuPree-Bemis. The collection of 12 songs trade traditional rock-band instrumentation for more refined string arrangements.
