WE CAME AS ROMANS ANNOUNCES SPRING 2012 HEADLINING TOUR
PREMIERES “JUST KEEP BREATHING”
MUSIC VIDEO ON LIVESTREAM.COM

DEC 19 – Michigan’s We Came As Romans announces The Fire and Ice Tour, a Spring 2012 US headlining run with support from Emmure, blessthefall, Woe, Is Me and The Color Morale.
“Just Keep Breathing”, We Came As Romans’ second music video in a three-part series, premiered on Friday, December 16th. The video was directed by Travis Kopach [AFI, 3OH!3, Panic! At The Disco] and is a continuation of the band’s previously released video for ”Mis//Understanding”, with the story carrying over into “Understanding What We’ve Grown To Be”, the band’s forthcoming and final music video of the series. The band debuted “Just Keep Breathing” on Livestream.com, followed by an interactive chat with fans. The video is now available on YouTube.com/equalvision.
We Came As Romans concluded their seemingly non-stop touring schedule of 2011 this past weekend by headlining the December to Remember festival in Anaheim, CA. The band will keep up their dedication to the road in 2012, kicking off the year with a European co-headlining tour with Alesana, which will be presented by Keep-A-Breast and Macbeth. Soon after, the band will travel to Japan for the first time, to perform at Scream Out Fest. We Came As Romans is touring in support of their recently released sophomore full-length album, Understanding What We’ve Grown To Be.

SXSW Recap - part one!
OH MY GOSH. I don’t even know where to begin in recapping SXSW. If you were there then you know the madness and magic that went down on 6th Street and the surrounding streets for the week. It was my third year at the Austin, TX based festival but my first year working for Equal Vision Records. It also just so happened to be the first time in five years that the label has put on a showcase at SXSW.
It was an insanely busy week but seeing all of our bands perform in one place together was such a memorable and rewarding experience. It was SUCH an honor to be a part of this show and to watch of all of the phenomenal acts on the lineup perform.
The show was jam packed with talented artists from start to finish, including our special guests in Harvard who opened up the show, This Time Next Year, Wild Orchid Children, ORBS, Gatsbys American Dream and our Texas-based sweethearts in Eisley who headlined the party.
First and foremost, I want to say a special thank you to the bands, fans, venue (Dirty Dog Bar), and all of our incredible sponsors: Livestream.com, popchips, Honest Tea, MusicSkins, and BUST Magazine. Everyone was absolutely incredible to work with and we support their products wholeheartedly! (No but seriously, we went out on the hunt for popchips and Honest Tea with our lunches today…we’re officially addicted!!)
The first three hundred guests received gift bags with all sorts of goodies including popchips, Eisley MusicSkins, EVR water bottles, and more!

Also, special thank you to anyone who helped me hang banners and posters outside of the venue, I’m really short and I literally could not have done it without you. You guys rule.
Christina from BUST Magazine enjoying some popchips!

We’re all rocking the Eisley MusicSkins on our own phones and iPods right now. They’re gorgeous!
I want a cooler full of Honest Tea in our office haha how refreshing does this look?!?? So delicious.
Oh, we also recorded the show via Livestream…we’ll have that footage for you soon in case you missed it or just want to relive the night! We had a blast standing at the recording station and reading your comments throughout the show. Should we stream more of our shows live??
If you were at the show, I want to see your photos -leave your favorite shot from the night in the photo replies!
SXSW Recap, part two = Live and candid shots of the bands. Stay tuned :)
