I the Mighty - “The Dreamer” from the EP Karma Never Sleeps (out now)
(Source: Spotify!)
Tallhart’s new EP Bloodlines is now available through Equal Vision Records / Rory Records. The six track album was recorded in Tampa, FL with Travis Hearne, Tim McTague (of Underoath), and Dean Tidey (of Feeder) with additional production by Ray Jeffery and Max Bemis (of Say Anything). The indie rock quartet is also the first band signed to Rory Records – the newly launched Equal Vision Records imprint label of Bemis.
Physical copies of the album can be purchased HERE or at any of Tallhart’s upcoming tour dates. The album is also available through digital retailers such as iTunes and Amazon.
Tallhart has just wrapped up their Spring tour dates with indie pop labelmates Eisley and will join Say Anything for the second half of the Say Anarchy Tour, beginning with the stop in New York City this Friday at the Best Buy Theater in Times Square.
Guitarist Chris Brickman, drummer Reed Murray and bassist Glenn Espinoza collectively create a perfectly balanced musical framework that showcases vocalist Matt Segallos’ potent mix of lyrical musings on the light and dark sides of life, love, and spirituality – all delivered through his distinctly soulful, and subtly southern, croons. Through rich guitar tones and pure lyrical eloquence, one can simply feel the sincerity and depth of the band’s emotionally charged music.
Tallhart has shared stages with the diverse likes of Anberlin, Underoath, Panic! At The Disco, Paper Tongues, Rooney, AWOLNATION and more and was named one of Tampa’s “2011 Ultimate Local Artists” by the Tampa Bay Tribune/ St. Pete Times. Bloodlines is the follow-up to two previous self-releases put out under the name Marksmen, The Blue and Grey EP (2010) and their full-length album Sister of Mine (2011).
The Bloodlines tracklisting and upcoming tour dates with Say Anything can be found below. The EP can be previewed in its entirety on AOL Music HERE and also on Purevolume HERE.

EISLEY RELEASES ‘DEEP SPACE’ EP!
NEW ALBUM TRACK-BY-TRACK AVAILABLE NOW ON ALTPRESS.COM
Eisley’s new EP, Deep Space, is now available at indie record stores and online (iTunes, Amazon, MerchNOW). The five-track EP was recorded and self-produced in Eisley’s hometown of Tyler, TX with engineer/mixer Andy Freeman.
Today, the band also revealed a track-by-track description of Deep Space on AltPress.com, where singers/songwriters Sherri DuPree-Bemis and Stacy DuPree-King offer insight behind the writing process and inspiration for each song on the EP.
Eisley also currently has a special Valentine’s Day collaboration running with labelmate Say Anything, with each band offering a new song that can be streamed and shared with loved ones. Say Anything, which is fronted by Max Bemis - husband to Eisley’s Sherri DuPree-Bemis, will release a new album of their own, Anarchy, My Dear, on March 13.
Eisley will venture out on a US tour in support of the Deep Space EP this March, with Christie DuPree and Tampa, FL-based band TALLHART (formerly known as Marksmen) as the opening acts.
The surreal trance of Deep Space follows The Valley, Eisley’s incredibly candid and autobiographical full-length album, which was released in March 2011. The Valley debuted at No. 75 on the Billboard 200 Current Albums Chart, No. 5 on Amazon MP3’s Top 10 Album Chart, and No. 3 on its New Albums Chart. Eisley also recently released their new steampunk-inspired music video for “The Valley”, which was directed and animated by Cory Sheldon. The video can be viewed HERE. The Valley has been deemed “one of the best albums of 2011” by Amazon.com, Big Takeover, Alternative Press, and AbsolutePunk.net.
The new EP has already received similar widespread praise from the likes of Rock Sound Magazine, Music Connection Magazine, Alternative Press, AlterThePress.com, AbsolutePunk.net and more.
All upcoming Deep Space Tour dates can be found below. A list of indie stores carrying the EP can be found HERE.

I the Mighty will release their debut album on Equal Vision Records, Karma Never Sleeps, on March 27th.
The San Francisco, CA-based band has also revealed the cover art, tracklisting, and a teaser video for the EP, which can be seen HERE.
Karma Never Sleeps envelops listeners into a dramatic, dreamlike state, with intricate tales of political corruption, desperation and despair, and even words of cautionary counseling for the young and reckless. The EP features six sweeping tracks filled with soaring vocals, catchy hooks, charging guitars and explosive instrumentations, lyrically infused with powerful, poignant storylines.
I the Mighty vocalist Brent Walsh speaks of the band’s politically-charged lead single “Cutting Room Floor” explaining, “I go through phases where I follow politics closely, only to find myself backing away from it completely because it brings little more than frustration and a greater lack of confidence in humanity. The song describes Karma catching up to somebody who has let the persuasive hand of greed be the guiding light by which they live their life.” He concludes, “We don’t want people to just listen to our music on a surface level. We want people to dive into the songs and dissect them and to really feel them.”
The single is currently available on iTunes, Amazon and other online retailers. Pre-orders for the full album, which was produced by Erik Ron [Panic! At The Disco, VersaEmerge, Foxy Shazam], will launch on February 3rd on equalvision.merchnow.com.
I the Mighty has just wrapped up a tour with A Lot Like Birds and Just Like Vinyl (ex-The Fall of Troy) and will next head out with The Mid-Summer Classic, Divided By Friday and Victorian Halls. In March, the band will once again hit the road, with A Lot Like Birds and From Indian Lakes, en route to Texas for SXSW. GHOST THROWER ‘GET MISERABLE’ EP - NOW AVAILABLE
Ghost Thrower’s debut EP, Get Miserable, is now available through digital retailers, such as iTunes and Amazon. A 7” vinyl is also available at shows and through MerchNow.com.
The Boston-based punk band is comprised of Travis Alexander on vocals and guitar [ex-Therefore I Am], Nick Webster [ex-Shipwreck A.D.] on bass, Robbie Rose [ex-Bravo Fucking Bravo, Lunglust] on drums, and Ben Anderson on guitar.
Ghost Thrower brings the same punk elements, rawness and energy of Therefore I Am, with a grittier, more emotional and in-your-face feel - simliar to that of Jawbreaker. With many of the songs on Get Miserable recorded in just one take, the EP captures the innateness and sincerity of the music and lyrics.
Alternative Press describes the album as, “Hard-charging, hook-laden post-hardcore that plays like a punkier Fear Before or a more straightforward La Dispute, Get Miserable is quick and dirty—forward-thinking, but not flashy….Musically, it’s backed by simply catchy and complexly orchestrated cuts that help qualify Ghost Thrower’s debut as a bona fide success.”
Get Miserable features two brand new tracks and remixed/remastered versions of three previously released songs. Pick it up today!
