Brighton, UK-based solo artist Ed Tullett will head out on his first ever headline tour next month, and will be joined by up and coming artist SCRIBER, as direct support. All upcoming tour dates can be seen below.
The 19-year old singer-songwriter released a remastered and expanded version of Never Joy, Tullett's debut full-length album, on Equal Vision Records in December 2012. Earlier this year, Tullett followed up the full-length with the release of a new single and music video for “Oxblood”, which fans will be able to hear live on the upcoming tour.
Tullett has shared stages with the likes of Tegan & Sara, The Dear Hunter, HRVRD and more, and was also announced as a winner in the Bon Iver Stems Project - a contest in which Justin Vernon, the 2012 Grammy Award winner of Best Alternative Music Album and Best New Artist, teamed up with Indaba Music to give musicians a chance to remix a song from Bon Iver’s self-titled album. Tullett’s winning track “Hinnom, TX - Ed Tullett Remix” can be heard on the Spotify exclusive album Bon Iver, Bon Iver: Stems Project.

EQUAL VISION RECORDS ANNOUNCES 2013 SXSW SHOWCASE FEATURING THE DEAR HUNTER, HRVRD, SET IT OFF, AND MORE
EVR SPRING SAMPLERS TO INCLUDE NEW SONGS FROM

Equal Vision Records will host a day party/label showcase on March 15 in Austin, TX at SXSW 2013. The event, sponsored by Onkyo, will take place at House of Blues (Annex) on the corner of 6th and Red River, from noon to 6pm.
Headlining the free, all-ages event is The Dear Hunter, who will releaseMigrant, their new full-length album and Equal Vision Records debut, on April 2. Today, the band is also premiering a second song off of the forthcoming album, on AltPress.com. The song is now available as a digital single via retailers such as iTunes and Amazon.
"Whisper" - the first song released - can be heard on Youtube and is available as an instant mp3 download with all Migrant pre-orders onTheDearHunter.MerchNOW.com. The Dear Hunter will kick off their North American headline run on March 12 in Scottsdale, AZ.
Charlotte, NC’s HRVRD will perform as direct support to The Dear Hunter. The band is currently on tour with letlive, and has just released their sophomore full-length album, From The Bird’s Cage, which debuted at No. 29 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and No. 85 on the Independent Chart.
Sharing the stage with The Dear Hunter and HRVRD will be Set It Off(who are just now wrapping up a full UK/European tour with Yellowcard), I the Mighty, Pretty & Nice, Kurt Travis, Northern Faces (whose debut EP Southern Places is out today and available streaming HERE) and British newcomer Ed Tullett with his debut US performance.
Equal Vision Records will offer free CDs of their 2013 Spring Sampler at the showcase. For the first time ever, the sampler will feature two separate volumes, with tracks from The Dear Hunter, HRVRD, We Came As Romans, Texas In July, Glass Cloud and more, as well as the premiere of new songs from I the Mighty, Life On Repeat and Pretty & Nice.
