Eisley will be doing a signing and performing at the grand opening of the new Tilly’s store at South Plains Mall in Lubbock, TX this Saturday, May 5th! Be there!
EISLEY ANNOUNCES SUMMER TOUR DATES
INCLUDING FESTIVAL PERFORMANCES AT
SUMMERFEST AND CORNERSTONE
Just two days after the final date of the Deep Space Tour, indie pop quintet Eisley is happy to announce their next set of US dates - The Mid-Summer Tour.
Kicking off on June 28th, the two week run with support from Merriment, will bring Eisley to two of the summer’s biggest music festivals: Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI and Cornerstone Festival in Marietta, IL.
This will be the band’s first time performing at Summerfest and third time performing at Cornerstone. Prior to the start of tour, Eisley will also perform a special in-store acoustic set on May 5th, presented by Dickies Clothing at 1pm CST at the Tilly’s Store Grand Opening at South Plains Mall in Lubbock, TX. Following the tour, the band will return home to write and record their highly anticipated fourth full-length album.
Eisley is touring in support of their recently released Deep Space EP. The five-track album, which was recorded in the band’s hometown of Tyler, TX and self-produced, was released on February 14th via Equal Vision Records.
Of the EP, online tastemakers Stereo Subversion boasted, “It is next to impossible not to become ensnared by the epic beauty of everything from the melodic guitars, heavy drumming and the siren calls that are the lush, sad and gorgeous voices of the sisters DuPree: Stacy, Chauntelle and Sherri. This band just doesn’t know how to stop putting out the quality tunes…Deep Space is a solid release that fits perfectly into the Eisley discography and will give their fans five more reasons to love them.” Similarly HM Magazine stated, “Eisley is a proven entity and you can rest assured that you’re going to be assaulted by just about the sweetest swirling voices and harmonies you’ve ever heard over soft and catchy melodies deftly played by the band.”
Perhaps even more notable than Eisley’s beloved recordings is the band’s ability to bring the same amount of emotion and talent to their live performances, bringing their whimsical tales and instrumentations to life on stage. Time Out New York described the experience as “…a gossamer tapestry of dreamlike textures punctuated by soaring vocals, which never fails to come off as somewhat mystical and charmingly inscrutable.”
“If you’re looking for another reason to catch Eisley in person, the dual vocals of Stacy and Sherri may be one of the most fascinating combinations to watch and hear. The girls’ harmonies have long been one of the most lauded aspects of the band’s recordings, but hearing them live adds a new depth to the experience. Both Stacy and Sherri share lead duties and each is smart and flexible when their role changes to background vocals, knowing exactly when and how to supplement the other. Not to be outdone, Chauntelle adds another voice to the mix during select songs,” noted PopMatters.com review of the band’s most recent tour.
“And most simply concluded, “If you get the chance to see them live—take it.”

EDIT: Thanks to everyone who tuned in! We’ll let you know when the recorded version is available :)
Tampa, FL-based band TALLHART has signed to Equal Vision Records. The indie rock quartet is also the first band signed to Rory Records – the newly launched EVR imprint label of Say Anything frontman Max Bemis.
TALLHART (previously known as Marksmen) will release their Equal Vision Records/Rory Records debut EP in Spring 2012. The album was recorded in Tampa, FL with Bemis, Tim McTague (of Underoath), and Dean Tidey (of Feeder) serving as producers.

Leading the EP will be the track “Fever (Sister Of Mine)”, which will be released on March 6th as a digital single. This album will be the follow-up to two previous self-releases put out under the name Marksmen, The Blue and Grey EP (2010) and their full-length album Sister of Mine (2011).
“They are TALLHART. A brilliant young band from Tampa who can write a stadium rock-level anthem like nobody’s business but don’t shy away from lovely, dense songwriting. They also put on a sickeningly great live show,” Bemis expounds. “To me, they combine the best elements of early U2, Manchester Orchestra and sort of a young Pearl Jam (that last one is a pretty weird call, but I stand by it): basically, smart and brave music, rich with a swelling, unfiltered feeling. I’ll be working closely with them on many aspects of their music and the record, and am extremely excited for the release of their EVR/Rory Records debut EP.”

TALLHART vocalist Matt Segallos reflects on the new partnership stating, “I feel like EVR has put out genre defining records over the years…so for them to want to work with us is exciting to say the least…and once things became clear that EVR was ready to make this happen, it was cool to see that Max was really on our side.”
He continues, “I just really feel like it’s rare for someone of his standing to really fight for an up and coming band because he believes in the music so much. It wasn’t like we were long time friends so he threw us a bone he just genuinely wanted to help us take the next step. I’m always thrilled to work with someone like that. Plus, everyone knows how creative Max is; to have him involved in our work is a real pleasure.”
Guitarist Chris Brickman, drummer Reed Murray and bassist Glenn Espinoza collectively create a perfectly balanced musical framework that showcases Segallos’ potent mix of lyrical musings on the light and dark sides of life, love, and spirituality – all delivered through his distinctly soulful, and subtly southern, croons. Through rich guitar tones and pure lyrical eloquence, one can simply feel the sincerity and depth of the band’s emotionally charged music.
The band was named one of Tampa’s “2011 Ultimate Local Artists” by the Tampa Bay Tribune/ St. Pete Times and has shared stages with the diverse likes of Anberlin, Underoath, Panic! At The Disco, Paper Tongues, Rooney, AWOLNATION and more.
TALLHART will be on tour this Spring with indie pop labelmates Eisley from March 8 – April 1 and Say Anything from April 13 – May 3. All upcoming tour dates can be seen below.

EISLEY RELEASES ‘DEEP SPACE’ EP!
NEW ALBUM TRACK-BY-TRACK AVAILABLE NOW ON ALTPRESS.COM
Eisley’s new EP, Deep Space, is now available at indie record stores and online (iTunes, Amazon, MerchNOW). The five-track EP was recorded and self-produced in Eisley’s hometown of Tyler, TX with engineer/mixer Andy Freeman.
Today, the band also revealed a track-by-track description of Deep Space on AltPress.com, where singers/songwriters Sherri DuPree-Bemis and Stacy DuPree-King offer insight behind the writing process and inspiration for each song on the EP.
Eisley also currently has a special Valentine’s Day collaboration running with labelmate Say Anything, with each band offering a new song that can be streamed and shared with loved ones. Say Anything, which is fronted by Max Bemis - husband to Eisley’s Sherri DuPree-Bemis, will release a new album of their own, Anarchy, My Dear, on March 13.
Eisley will venture out on a US tour in support of the Deep Space EP this March, with Christie DuPree and Tampa, FL-based band TALLHART (formerly known as Marksmen) as the opening acts.
The surreal trance of Deep Space follows The Valley, Eisley’s incredibly candid and autobiographical full-length album, which was released in March 2011. The Valley debuted at No. 75 on the Billboard 200 Current Albums Chart, No. 5 on Amazon MP3’s Top 10 Album Chart, and No. 3 on its New Albums Chart. Eisley also recently released their new steampunk-inspired music video for “The Valley”, which was directed and animated by Cory Sheldon. The video can be viewed HERE. The Valley has been deemed “one of the best albums of 2011” by Amazon.com, Big Takeover, Alternative Press, and AbsolutePunk.net.
The new EP has already received similar widespread praise from the likes of Rock Sound Magazine, Music Connection Magazine, Alternative Press, AlterThePress.com, AbsolutePunk.net and more.
All upcoming Deep Space Tour dates can be found below. A list of indie stores carrying the EP can be found HERE.
