IDLEHANDS SIGNS TO EQUAL VISION RECORDS / HEADPHONE MUSIC
PREMIERES MUSIC VIDEO FOR “MELLOW CHRIST”
ANNOUNCES SUMMER TOUR DATES
San Diego, CA’s Idlehands has signed to Headphone Music, an Equal Vision Records imprint.
The experimental indie-rock quintet is also premiering a music video today, for “Mellow Christ” featuring Justin Bonifacio of Ghost Parade. The video is premiering now on Youtube.com/equalvision.
The song originally appeared on a split 7” with Ghost Parade and will also be featured on Idlehands' debut full-length album, which will be released later this year. The new album was recorded in Portland, OR with producer Kris Crummett (A Lot Like Birds, Closure In Moscow), and is the follow-up to the band's 2013 EP,Common Soul.

Idlehands is comprised of Johnny O’Hagan (vocals), Michael Brekka (guitar), Seancarlo Ohlin (guitar), Phil Di Raffaele (drums), and Matthew Joaquin (bass).
The band has several upcoming summer tour dates confirmed, including a show tonight in Riverside, CA and a short set of tour dates throughout California with Hail The Sun and My Iron Lung, that kick off tomorrow in San Diego. Idlehands will then head out on a two-week run of shows in July, with Icarus The Owl. All upcoming tour dates can be found below.

Equal Vision Records is happy to announce that a split 7” featuring Say Anything and Eisley will be available tomorrow, May 10, via equalvision.merchNOW.com, on the band’s upcoming full US tour together, and in stores this summer.
The pressing offers 1000 on black vinyl that will be available online and on tour and 500 clear vinyl that will be available in stores. Side A features Say Anything's ”Try to Remember, Forget (acoustic)” - a song originally from the Menorah/Majora EP but just recently re-recorded acoustically. Side B features Eisley's “Lost and Found (acoustic)”, which the band performed live on tour years ago, but never formally recorded or released until now. The album’s artwork was also illustrated by Eisley's very own Sherri DuPree-Bemis.
Say Anything's upcoming headline tour features an all Equal Vision Records' lineup, with direct support from Eisley, additional support from HRVRD, and Northern Faces and I the Mighty splitting the opening slot. Eisley and Merriment are happy to announce the forthcoming release of a limited edition split 7” featuring Eisley's “Kind” (Live) on Side A and Merriment's “Through The Rough” on Side B, to coincide with their upcoming tour together that kicks off on June 28th. There will be a total of 500 limited pressing, hand numbered vinyl available on transparent non-metallic gold. The bands will have 250 available on the tour and 250 are available now for pre-order through Eisley's online store HERE. The album cover artwork is designed by Sherri DuPree-Bemis/Boyd DuPree (Eisley artwork) and Danny Roberts/Boyd DuPree (Merriment artwork).
